Wirral Council and PCPW are holding a SEND Preparation for Adulthood Festival at the Floral Pavilion on 8th October from 10:00 – 19:00. This event is aimed at our SEND young people from age 11 – 25 preparing for adulthood, moving to adult services and planning for their futures. There will be a huge marketplace of relevant stalls covering health and social care, further education, careers and more. As well as this, there will be a sensory room, MENCAP workshops for parent/carers, and a programme of talks taking place in the theatre itself.

At this site, there are links to the workshops MENCAP will be running during the event as well. These workshops are aimed at parent/carers of young people with a learning disability who would like to know more about Deputyship and the Court of Protection.
